Today, our CEO Mike attended The Agreement meeting between the Japan police and the virtual currency operators.
The agreement cites that the Japan Police and cryptocurrency exchanges will closely cooperate to deal with cyber crime involving cryptocurrency, as this type of crime has been steadily increasing in recent years.
Mike commented: "We launched our services in May 2014 and we prioritized the effort of implementing preventive measures to bulletproof our cryptocurrency exchange. For instance, we implemented a 2FA requirement standard from the beginning. We have been very careful at the network level, the operational level etc... and so far, no actual damage has occurred.
These preventive efforts have become increasingly important as hacking becomes more sophisticated and we are on constant guard. We believe that cryptocurrency exchanges should join forces on this issue, and given that the cryptocurrency industry is considered a good target for hackers, we would like to continue delivering a safe and very secure user experience."
