Authy requires you to have a phone number attached to your Quoinex account. If this phone number is incorrect or no longer available and your Quoinex account uses Authy for 2FA setting, you will be unable to receive 2FA codes.
Currently users cannot change the phone number of their Quoinex account themselves due to security reasons. If you wish to change your phone number, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for further assistance.
Support team will require the following:
- ID selfie (a selfie of you holding your national ID or international passport): this is for identity verification. Without it, we will never know if it was indeed you who were trying to log in, or an unauthorized third party.
- Your phone number in +(country code)-(phone number) format.
Once Support team verifies your identity, tech team will update your phone number. The setup will take 1 working day to complete.
For Google Authenticator users, as the app is attached to your second device (i.e. your phone), you can have any phone number you need as long as the device is intact.
