SET UP 2-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION
Once registration is completed and you have confirmed your Quoinex account, please sign in immediately using the credentials you have registered with us and go to Settings > Security in order to set up 2-factor authentication (2FA). 2FA requires you to have a smartphone in order to run the Google Authenticator, and is mandatory for all QUOINEX accounts.
- Go to Settings > Security.
- At this point your 2FA status is "not enabled yet." Click Enable to continue.
- Follow the instructions to continue. You will need to download and install Google Authenticator to your phone and use it to scan the QR code provided by the dashboard. You can also enter the text code manually. Please make a copy of this QR code and save it for emergencies.
- Google Authenticator will then generate a code for you to enter to the dashboard. Click Enable again to complete the process.
From here onward, whenever you log in, request a withdrawal, or add a new IP address, system will ask for a 2FA code that you can get from Google Authenticator.
CONFIRM NEW IP ADDRESS
System will ask you to confirm your IP address whenever your IP address changes. The change can be a result of location change, modem reset, or dynamic IP setup. After confirming, you will receive an email notifying your successful login made from a new IP address.
CONFIRM CRYPTO WITHDRAWAL
Crypto withdrawals needs to be confirmed at least twice, once from the Quoinex dashboard and once via email.
Firstly, system requires a 2FA token in order to create a crypto withdrawal request. Then, once the withdrawal request is submitted, you will receive a link via email to confirm the withdrawal. The link expires in 30 minutes. If it is unclicked within 30 minutes, the withdrawal will be cancelled automatically by system.
After, if the withdrawal address of this request is used for the first time, Support team will send another email to ask for your written confirmation. Withdrawal can only be processed after all confirmations are completed.
